I know the topic has got to be somewhere on here, but I cant find it.

I need a new hard gun case that can handle impact, rain, fairly securable and hold two rifles with scopes.
Not afraid to spend some money but want something that is nice and functional.  Mine was stolen

Please give a review of what you have or know about.

Name of Case:
Maker:
Cost:
Size (inside):

Cons:
Any other info that might help on the decison:

Thanks!!!

I'd recommend Pelican

Ain't cheap, but if you think about it, they are inexpensive compared to the damage your stuff could take if you weren't protecting it.

if you can find a Hardigg Storm case, i would suggest that.  but the Pelican has done a pretty good job keeping the quality of the Storm line as well.

I prefer Stormcases, but Pelican is very nice.

Pelican or Storm...both will serve you well. It is encouraging to see
folks willing to invest in a quality case to protect their weapons.

I use a Storm 3100 with a Larue Improved Discreet case.  This set up protects mine just fine in the trunk of my cruiser.

For those recommending Storm, they are great cases, but you have to find old stock or used cases.  Pelican bought them out  I liked having the two companies competing, but Pelican in the only game in town now.

Storm did not go away, Pelican-Hardigg still produces Storm cases. http://www.pelican.com/case_category_storm.php?CaseSize=%&New=%

I have had a pile of both Pelican and Storm, but I prefer the Storm cases due primarily to the closure latches.
