Searched info on padded two-point VCAS and read of possible length problems with the padded BFG VCAS sling when attached at rear portion of handguard near delta & at rear of AR receiver. One post mentioned possible changes made by factory to allow sling to tighten down further with sling mounted @ this location.  Interested in the padded VCAS w/ sewn in QD but will opt for unpadded version if still exists problem tightening sling mounted in this location.

Still possible problem with fully tightening the padded sling mounted close to both ends of the receiver?  Please advise

I run a padded VCAS. The rear point is a Tango Down PR4, and the front is the built in swivel on a DD Omega X rail. The rear could just as easily by a Noveski end plate or some other plate.

I run the sling up and over my right shoulder, down my back, and under my left arm. If anything I have a lot of slack left over when I cinch it up. I didn't want to cut the excess, so I folded it up neatly and secured it with a black tie wrap.

In this configuration, the pad is always on my right shoulder. There is a short section of sling between the pad and the PR4, depending on how tight you run it, and or your size.

Anyway, it should be fine. Here's the gun, without the sling. The sling is in multicam, and it makes for a pretty gun. I'll put it on the list to take pictures.
