i am investigating some of the 2 to 1 point slings and if i am understanding correctly, i will need at least 1 hook in order to convert to the 1 point. i would be using this sling primarily on my A4, which I have installed the GGG 1073 HK style sling adapter. So this means I would need 2 CLASH or HK hooks, correct? one to attach to the rear adapter and one to attach either to the front of the weapon or to the ring on the sling itself?
the same would apply for any two point sling if I were to use a front rail attachment (ie the Magpul RAS)? |

I have this sling. rear is threaded through a QD sling loop attached to a noveske end plate. Front is threaded to a HK Hook that is clipped to the magpul RSA mount.
you can also mount the rear of the sling to whatever sling cut slot you have in the stock. heres the MM page on slings with more info on the gunslinger. gunslinger |
| I have this sling as well. You do have to purchase your attachment hardware desperately, as it doesn't come with any for either end. I purchased two HK style hooks because the end plates on our rifles at work are already configured to receive HK hooks, and the front of our rifles have the CQD sling loop mounted to the rail. |
| I have had a Gunslinger for 4 years or so, love it. My rear mount is the supplied Fastex male/female buckle and the loop goes through the loop slot on my end plate. I installed a Gear Sector QD mount on my Samson rail and put a <oumt-N-Slot 2 in1 triglide on my rear strap. Now I can run it as a two point or single point sling. Very solid set up. I'd go with MASH hooks over HK hooks. |
| I also run the gunslinger. The rear pigtail already has a quick disconnect male/female fastex buckle. I have the pigtail looped through an IKW SLAP receiver endlplate. For the front of the sling I use an ITW Mash hook mounted to the stock sling swivel or onto the sling iteself obviously. |

I really don't think you have to be that desperate to purchase your hardware. You should be able to buy it at your leisure. |

I drink too much....Or spell check thinks I'm too much of a geo-bachelor, one of the two...Maybe both. You have to purchase your attachment hardware separately. |
