There seem to be 5 different variation of the Leatherman MUT - Leatherman's new AR15 friendly multi-tool. Can anyone tell me what the major differences are between the 5 models.

Quoted: Why can't you access the Multitasker website? It looks interesting. I was just about to shell the $$$ out for the MUT. Nevermind, I found them on Brownells website. Might want to wait for Multitasker. Follow him on facebook, he is coming out with a ton of new stuff. |

The main difference between the MUT and the EOD MUT are the pliers(the EOD version has a crimper) and the EOD has a C4 punch. The EOD version then has a super-sized version. I forget what it includes. If you're looking for an AR specific tool, the Multitasker is amazing. If you want something that has a bit more utility that can work with weapons, the MUT is pretty good. Or you can get both, and stage them with different pieces of kit. |
