I have a GG&G receiver sling mount which I plan to use as the rear attachment point for my 2 pt sling, but I was wondering what options i have for mounting the front attachment. My handguards are standard carbine handguards, so no RIS. Is there any mount that i can attach and use without a rail system? The mount needs to have a QD swivel attachment as well if possible.

I go off of the back of the stock and the sling mount on the front sight base. I'm not really answering your question, but be careful when you mount that receiver plate, as I about skinned my hand the first time I racked the charging handle after I installed it. I took the SOB right back off. |
