I am looking for a "stubby" front grip, that attaches to a typical rail system, not too heavy, i dont need it for any type of storage, i have had a hell of a time trying to find one. Anyone have personal experiance in a particular grip? I know, I know, I feel dumb, but i am having a hard time tracking down what i am looking for.

Thank you for your time.

Magpul RVG, meets all your criteria, is comfortable, and inexpensive.  Can be cut down shorter if you want.

Is adjustable to 3 lengths.  Love mine.

another vote for the magpul rvg. its everything
a vfg should be sturdy/no movement, light and the
ergonomics are good. its also cheap.

and if the rvg isn't short enough it's cheap enough that you won't mind cutting it down shorter
