Hey everyone I have a Olympic Arms rifle with the A2 stock and I am wanting to change my stock to the collapsible stock and I know I have to change the buffer tube. My question is that I have seen on the net a lot of people talking about Mil-Spec and Commercial Buffer tubes. Anyways back to my question, I have been looking at a kit for my rifle and I don't know what size I need to get- whether the mil-spec or commercial. Does it matter which one I get if I am changing the whole system to a new buffer tube?

It shouldn't matter if you get a complete stock set.  If you change to a different stock,  you will have to match it to whichever tube you have.

Ok Thanks for the info.

I would add that since you are starting from scratch, get a commercial tube/stock.  It will give you more options down the road if you decide to change in the future.
