This was discussed a while back but couldn't remember what was the final answer. I'm wanting to put a bi-pod on my AP4 DPMS and I'm wanting to drill a hole through the handguard and put my bolt/stud through it with threads sticking out, then my bi-pod will screw onto that. I talked to a gunsmith and he said that it was okay to do it this way and I talked to a guy on another site who did it to his. I'm not sure what or which stud to get. I'm thinking someone told me the harris b1-05, but I want to make sure before I get it.
