Depends; if you have a carbine gas system, no conventional bayonet will fit, unless the bayonet is an extended handle one; on the other hand a midlenght gas system carbine will take any plain bayonet with ease.
You can get the old VN eera M7 bayonets pretty cheap these days and if you wanna spend some extra cash, then go with either an M9 (M16A4 and M4) or an USMC OKC bayonet.
