| I know how to install it, I think, but on my S&W M&P15X the screw inside the hollow of the original gip doesn't have any type of head that I've seen before. It is just a raised up circle with a hole in the middle. I've tried needle nose pliers but couldn't grip it. Has anyone encountered anything like this and how did they get it out? |

Are you sure its not an alan key? Shine a light down there . Sometimes you cant make out the edges of the hole . Also, It takes a pretty long alan wrench to reach it. |
