Figure the next mod to my AR15 will be a sling. I have a question though, how does everyone have their sling setup? I have the general sling mounts that come with the AR, one by the bayo lug and one at the end of the stock. Does everyone use these two points?
It will be a VTAC sling.

Most of my ARs have QDs attached at the rear of the stock and just in front of the upper receiver. One sling works with 4 different rifles.

I use on my rifles. They allow me two switch my sling from a two-point to a one-point comfortably. It carries well using either type.
I also have the option of moving the swivel to the stock using the QD since I have a CTR stock.

About 200,000 guys/gals are using "those" mounts right now on their M16s and M4 in theater.

Instead of using the lower mount on the stock you can thread it through the slotted hole in the stock and fasten the top to the sling, usually balances out better this way.
