| I just got it today, i really hesitated ordering a 45 dollar sling. I have to say it is worth the money though. Very quick transition from single point to two point. One handed adjustments. I would have to say its the best sling i have used. |

| just ordered one myself last nite.i'm anxious to see how it feels. i have a blue force gear 3pt. now and have never been happy w/ it from the day i got it.it's not a manufacturer's problem w/quality,....it's just a bad idea in that it shrouds the left side of the receiver for a right handed shooter.hopefully the ms2 performs better.....the ability to quickly change from a single point to a 2pt. appeals to me. |

the one thing I do not like about it is the hardware. I have mine hooked to a YHM end plate sling mount. I just had it on there for a little while (not even shooting it just walked around with it for 15 minutes) and the paint chiped off to display a gold layer. Now there is gold flacks everywhere. I should have waited for the MS3 with hardware updates. Anybody want to buy an MS2 with the hardward scratch up.
although i guess it would not have happend if I had it ona quick detach ring since the YHM end plate is not rounded |

Quoted: where can i get a good price on the MS2 SLING. thanks http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=25&t=723117 the first one i found might be better prices out there |

Quoted: I did not like my sling. I found the webbing to soft, it would bunch up/twist and stop the slide from adjusting. I tried it through an instructor school, with lots of mounting and dismounting from the sling. I think it is a good idea, but just not there yet. ^ common complaints. Rumor has it that the improved version will be wider and stiffer. |

only thing that stood out w/me is the flimsyness of the material used on the sling. as far as the design,.....i think its designed well.the large clamp type thingy for the forward attachment is funky......not a bad funky, but just a bit more "busy" than it really needs to be. unless the little "wheel" or "cam" loosens up a little w/time it is a two handed chore to transition from 1pt. to 2pt. and vice-versa. not a big complaint, just an observation. a carabiner w/a toggle (used in rock climbing) would be more gun-friendly i would think. a portion of the sling that contacts the operator should have a built up area of material/foam to not only pad the operators shoulder but also to keep the material from bunching up and making it feel more like a length of rope is contacting their shoulder. jmho. |
