Two 42", one for a Remington 870 Tactical, and one for an AR w/16" barrel from LA POLICE GEAR. And a 50" for my Remington 700, from somewhere else after a long web search. They're made 1050 denier nylon (the strongest I've seen on a bag so far) and are extremely well made. The 36" is on sale at LAPOICEGEAR for $45 with another 10% off for Veteran's day, which is amazingly cheap for this bag. I would break it down like this, "do I want a discreet case, or do I want a whole lotta exterior pouches?" I went with the MidwayUSA rifle bag, it's a solid low profile option at about $60 after shipping. I kind of wish I went with this super discreet option:http://www.skdtac.com/Eagle_CAR15_Discreet_Case_p/eag.513.htm There are a lot of thieves out there, and firearms are worth a lot to criminals who can't get them legally. So I'd recommend checking out the bags that don't broadcast "valuable rifle." If you're looking for a more traditional range bag, then I would go with any one of the excellent suggestions everyone else posted. |
