Which type of front sling swivel is better for a 2 point sling on an AR15, bottom of front sight block or left side of front sight block?

I prefer the side mounts, myself. It hangs a little more naturally in your grip when you carry at the low/ready, and doesn't try to flip upside-down when you relax a little.
If I could figure out how to top-mount without getting in the way of the optics, I would.

YMMV, it's just my opinion and personal experience.

Two point slings work best went mounted on side swivels.

Side swivels FTW. The rifle just hangs better.
