hey guys i got to sample a ms2 sling today and i have a concern

the hook that attaches to a single point mount seems like a weak link. what i mean is there is a lot of pressure from the gun on it and if it is pulled on accidentally it could release itself. with very little pressure i was able to pull the little knotted cord to release the gun. maybe this could be confirmed by somebody  or maybe this claim is just unfounded. if anybody could clarify it for me i would appreciate it

thanks

It takes a fair amount of pressure to release it, but I agree with you, I think an HK hook might have been a better route.

you do have to be careful not to pull on that bar that holds the hook. with even a little pressure it will disconnect. but from what i can tell it will only do it if you pull on it i don't see it happening on its own.

i dont see it either but it takes very little force to make the disconnect

The best QD hook, is the ITW MASH hook. It's not as fast to attach/detach as, say, the H&K hook, but it's 100% secure.

EMDOM sells them with elastic sleeves to cover up most of the metal. I highly reccomend them.
