Looking at a quad rail for my AR. Searching through the Brownells webiste I saw a Double Star two piece unit for around 130bucks, said it was 7.5oz, lightest I have seen. Are these anygood, how would it copare to say a Daniel Defense Omega rail?

Here's another rail to think about: Troy DI

Locks up really tight and is of regular Troy quality.  I had one (still would, but sold the upper it was on) and loved it.

Well with the overwheling responses I went ahead and order the Double Star quad rail from Brownells, my discount price was 106 ish plus 4 packs of magpul rail covers. I got them today, intall was EASY, even w/out special tool. The D/S rails fit very snug and no wiggle at all. The rails are very light, lighter than the standard forend on my CMMG single shield units (advertised weight is 7.4oz). If I had thought about it, I would have taken a pic b4 putting on the magpul covers. Over all I am happy with my purchase, now I need to get a VFG and swap out my pressure switch pad.
