Discalaimer: Sorry this is of no help. Even though CTD does not make this case, right now you may have a hard time finding anyone that will endorse them as a dealer. You should go elsewhere if you decide to buy that case. why is that? I know they are far from cheaper then dirt but have people been having problems with their service or something? thanks and that is helpful |

That and the $40 PMag. BTW, that case looks like crap. Seems to me what you're really buying is a piece of cut foam. "Hard sided" I think not. |

Ive seen them sold elsewhere...I think its foam wrapped in cloth supported by cardboard or something... CTD is in very bad standing on AR15.com because of their price gouging after the election and instead of saying that is what it was they claimed that manufacturers had increased prices, and many manufacturers quickly denied this... |

I have quite a few cases, Tac Force, Allen, Uncle Mikes, Ace, even a Condor. All of those cases are better than the model you listed. When you see it first hand you will be unimpressed.
Now, here is the real problem with that case. It will support a rifle in only a limited configuration. What happens when you ditch the carrying handle and go to a scope or EO or Aimpoint. Good luck, which ever case you choose. P.S. Post pics when you decide. |

I'm gonna skip that one I think and find something somewhere else. Again, thanks guys! |

Better off with this than the CTD case |

Hey guys,
I am in the market for a case as well, and I need input. Now to start off with, I was looking at the CTD 42 inch Molle Rifle Case and the Voodoo Tactical 42 inch Molle Case. I know CTD is bad for all the stuff they pulled after the election ( I am not upset about the price increases, but lying about retail prices is not cool.) Unfortunately, I am on a budget, and I need to get the best bang for my buck. I like the extra storage pockets for pistols, etc. This would mostly eliminate my need for a range bag. I currently own one AR Do any of yall have experience with these? CTD bashing notwithstanding, what should I get. Is there anything else I should consider? Thanks! Edit: Ok so I feel like an idiot, but I just saw the thread on Voodoo Cases. Does the CTD/Condor version carry two rifles???? Any other suggestions?? |

I bought the CTD Molle case about a year ago and haven't been unhappy with it. The front pockets are very nice to have.
It does not hold 2 rifles in it, as it doesn't have the divider in it. I guess you could put a smaller rifle in the large front pocket if you wanted, but its really not meant for it. CTD does have a drag bag that does hold two rifles, but its not the square sided bag. As far as the bulldog case, skip it. Notice that it doesn't have padding on the top at all, except for the cardboard/plastic cloth covered lid. I saw one at a gun store and even though it does look cool having the foam all cut out, but its just not worth it and offers little protection. |

you can buy better from elsewhere. check the EE and ebay What is better, and in the same price range? do a search on ebay for rifle case and then sort it by price. there are plenty of hard cases in the $50 price range. you are not going to get pelican quality, but it will be better then foam and cardboard. |

Now to start off with, I was looking at the CTD 42 inch Molle Rifle Case and the Voodoo Tactical 42 inch Molle Case. I bought the MOLLE Ultimate 36" Weapons Case (which is just a shorter version of the one you posted) off CTD about a year ago. The case that arrived was actually the Voodoo Tactical 36" one. I honestly like the look of the Voodoo case even better than the one I intended to purchase, and it has held up after a year of constant use, no tears, rips or problems. It was also cheaper then buying off the Voodoo website. I can fit my 14.5 barreled rifle w/ ACOG and an additional 10.5 upper w/ Aimpoint in the main compartment, they are held in place by Velcro straps. The second zipper has additional room for other range supplies. There are two velcro pouches inside the second compartment. In one I put spatter targets and my staple gun, and the second one (although I now have a separate case for them) used to hold both my Glock 22 and 19. The front side pouches hold each hold 4 30 round mags perfectly. I use the front middle pouch for my ear/eye protection protection and suppressor. I'd like to get a Pelican case eventually, but this one definitely gets the job done well for now. Obviously it is a soft case, so I would not expect total protection, but as a range travel bag it works great. Hope this helped! Andrew |
