I have searched & searched but not found the answer i am looking for!

I know mostly its personal preference but what i would like to know is......

Is there any advantage to mounting the rear point at the rear of the receiver/front of buffer tube or is it better to attach it to the rear of the stock as in a CTR?

(2 point sling)

Which one? end of receiver or end of stock?
I would say stock would make it easier, but thats why i am asking Whats the preferred location, from all the great users here...
