I need a case for my Stag that is big enough to accomodate an Aimpoint with Larue LT-150 mount. The gun/case will be in my trunk for 8 hours a day and then taken in the house. I prefer a hard case but I read that the foam in the cheaper hard cases holds moisture.  I don't know about the padding in the soft cases. I am looking at these two choices.

My iSHOT has hard plastic sheets on the large flat surfaces and closed cell foam on all sides.  Its generally considered the best soft case you can buy.

I am very happy with my TAG case.  Very well constructed, 100% made in the USA by American citizens and carries a lifetime warranty.

Here is the first link I found.  I got mine directly from TAG, but this will give you an overview.
