Do any of you guys use a bipod on tour M-4, if so which one do you like. There are so many out there I need some help. I would like to get one that I can also use on different rifles.

Thanks for your info. I was looking for something that attaches to the barrel so it can be used on different rifles.

You wont find many barrel mount solutions because it causes POI changes.  Better to put rails on everything and use rail mounts IMO.

It's hard to beat a Harris bipod. I have one on my Bushmaster Varminter. Harris bipods can easily attach to a swivel stud. There are also adaptors that can be purchased to attach a Harris bipod to a rail. There's adaptors for just about everything.

Shooters Ridge also.  $40 bucks at wal-mart, made almost identical to harris.  If you want to use it on other rifles look at the t-nut solution Link at the top of the forum to make it quick disconnect.  I ues a CAA Bi-Pod adapter to attach it to the Picatinny Rail.  It comes off quick and easily attaches to another Pic Rail.

Notice the braid between the legs, it allows for fast one hand deployment.

Is there a Harris that does attach directly to the rail?

I'd get a actual Harris before buying a stolen Chinese cloned version of it.

But then again, I'm not all about the $$$.
