Hey Everyone….

I hope these are easy questions and that someone out there has tried this.

1.) Can a 1720 case fit two AR carbines with 16” barrels and optics attached? (ie Eotech)
2.) If someone has a picture of these with this configuration could you post it? Just so, I have an idea how much room is left over.

Thanks in advance….

Yes, but you will have to disassemble the uppers from the lowers.  You could possibly squeeze them both in there assembled, but you will not be giving them the propper clearance.  In order for a Pelican case to be effective, you have to insure there is at least 2" of foam between objects and the edges, and each other.  If you want to accomodate them correctly and assembled, get a 1750.

You can get the same size Storm case from LaRue for less. If you compare the two brands you will find the latched more secure and the handle more comfortable on the Storm. Both brands do a great job have lifetime warranty and are made in USA.

We sell both...personally I bought Pelicans first then replaced them w/ Storm...the Storm latches are much easier to manipulate & the long handles make it easier to tote a case that is not balanced...plus the rubber coating provides a good grip.

Here is my 16" RRA ar in a Storm Case im3100.  I used an electric carving knife to cut the foam myself.  VERY easy to do.  Fits great and has plenty of space for accessories.  I got it for $165 with foam and shipping from the link below.  Best price on the net I could find.
