I know everyone seems to like these grips so I am going to try one but I need some info first. 1. Does anyone use the F3? 2. Basic or full kit?

I bought the full kit, tried abt every combo and ended up using the f4 w/triggergard. Unless you've tried someone else's, I'd go ahead and get the full kit and just sell the "extra parts" for 15.00 or so on the EE boards. You'll end w/the combo you want and abt the same price anyway.... scottMO |

I bought the basic kit because I was pretty sure that I would be able to find something that met my comfort level without all the extras. I already knew I was going to pair it with the aluminum improved trigger guard, so I didn't need the built-in plastic one. I am very impressed with the design. my setup has the F1 front strap and the B2 backstrap. I like it a lot. |
If it's the first one you are buying, get the full kit and find out what set up you want. Then the later builds might only need the purchase of the basic kit. |
 My FDE MIAD grip with Magpul aluminum trigger guard If you won't be using the integral trigger guard F4 front strap then just get the basic kit. I only bought the basic kit for my general purpose carbine shown in the pic because I'm using the Magpul trigger guard which I prefer for heavy duty use. On my other M4 type home defense and backup carbine I used the F4 strap of the full kit because I didn't require the aluminum trigger guard in that setup. |
