New to AR-15 shooting.  Would like to extend stock about 1.5in to match current bolt actions.  Any ideas or links appreciated.

You can get recoil pads for telescopic or fixed stocks, but I don't know how much length they add to the rifle, as I have no experience with them.

I don't know what type of stock you have but if you have a collapsible stock VeriForce Tactical (click link on top of page) have different kinds of rubber buttpads.

If you have a solid A2 stock you could add an adjustable buttplate from J&T (link at top of page) or Fulton Armory have a 2" extension between the lower receiver and stock.
