Well, this is the year.  I'm finally gonna send in the tax for a supressor while it's still legal in the US.  I may only have it a short time with the new congress, but I'm going after it anyway.

I would certainly appreciate some recommendations on long life, good quality supressors that I can screw in place on my Bushmasters.  Since it's a lot of $'s to start with, I don't want to go cheap and get something I won't be happy with....from my research I expect to pay $700...but there are limits...I'd like to stay under $1,500.  I suspect that a full auto supressor would be more rugged and last longer...any education on this subject would be appreciated.

I'd also like to get a recommendation on dealers in Oklahoma, preferably in the Tulsa area.  With the dealer in mind, I'd also like to get a supressor for my .308.  Its a Remington 700 and I'll have to get the barrel threaded so I'd really like to get with a reputable dealer who can get the rifle threaded for me whilst also providing the transfer and/or sale.

Thank you,
Ken

I recommend you ask in the correct forum...

Click on "Arms & Tactics" from the menu up top and scroll down to the class III area.

Gemtech HALO for your Bushmasters.  I'm guessing you have more than one, and the HALO just mounts to standard A2 flash hiders, or any 22mm flash hider that is less than 2.05" long.  I have one, and it is great.  Also, Gemtech has used it on an M249 Para, so I'd say it is very durable.

I use the Advanced Armament Omni suppressor.  It is rated for military operations.  Built solid and full auto capable.  It has the benefit of transferring from weapon to weapon.  The Omni features a quick detach twist attachment which affixes to the standard 22mm NATO (A2) flash hider.  I like the option of when to use it and which weapon to use it on.

Highly recommend it.  Not the cheapest but it does fit well inside your listed budget.

Good Luck

The AAC M4-2000 is pretty much the best you can get for an AR.

The AAC M4/SPR is better in my opinion due to the better mount, same suppression, shorter length added to weapon, and less backpressure.  Less back pressure means reduced cyclic rate and less crud in your weapon.  Weight is under 20 oz too.
