I have a Specter SOP three point sling on my Bushy M4. I have it set up exactly like the picture. BUT, it seems when I wear it, one strap covers the safety and the bolt charging button on the left side of the M4. This is BAD. Am I doing something wrong in the set up or have I just purchased a new item for the draw?

It sounds like you may need to adjust it some to get things right, but the risk of blocking controls is one of the big issues that some people have with 3-point slings.  Jut be glad you're not a lefty with the ejection port getting blocked.

Yea, I was a real slow learner with the thing on my plate carrier.

Does your sling look like this?

The strap that goes from the buckle near the stock, to the buckle near the mag well should be well away from the rifle when the lower strap in the pic is around your neck. At least mine does. I have plenty of room to reach the selector, CH, etc.

yes mine looks like that set up, The strap gets in the way when I try emergancy reloads and when I go from ready to pointing in I have a problem with it covering the safety.

Perhaps you need to let some slack out of the strap that goes around your neck?

That's me and my SOP.

With a 3-point you have a strap running down the right side of the rifle (southpaw shooter) or down the left side (righty shooter).  Hmm.  I'm rethinking this 3-point concept after seeing the new quick adjustable 2-points.

+1

A two point can do the same thing without the strap running down the side of the rifle.
