| Im looking into the 5.11 Tactical® VTAC 2 Point Padded Sling. From the videos I have seen and since I like to stand and shoot at the range 90% of the time. I think the 5.11 VTAC 2 Point will be best for me since you can make it tight with one pull when you want to stand then release it with ease I think I will be going for this. I just started looking into slings and I really cant seem to find anything better, I think that is the sling in the pic correct me if I am wrong but yeah I will be ordering it and the mount for my FF rail. I just have one question will it mount on my CTR stock easy or should I buy a Swivil mount for it for my CTR stock? and I think it will make it easy so i can take it on and off with the swivel with ease? I think I will try it without then if I want the swivel I can just get it later on. |

Hello; I need to kmow where I can purchase a fr. sling mount for my AR-15. The one I'm looking for is the mount that goes around the bbl. and it looks like it goes under the A frame mount and has a side swivlel attachment poit on it, I'm not talikng about the GG&G sling thing either, I have seen several pictures in this thred with the type of fr. sling mount I'm looking for. Help me, I cannot seem to find this setup anywhere. Thanks kenner [email protected] |

Made my alterations to the original...
webbing / hardware from strapworks about 8 ft of 1-1/2" webbing (charcoal) 5 slides on the sling (+1 on front mount) 1 loop 1 d-ring 1 keeper 
The way it's strung let's me pull on the d-ring to cinch it tight. The keeper holds any excess webbing from the adjustment out of the way, as it moves forward with the d-ring. No fast way to loosen it, but it does what I wanted for cheap. In case anyone is wondering.. handguard & upper were Krylon'd with primer grey. . |

What set-up is this I like the clip and the little plate that goes by the stock plate? I dont own a sling and this is exactly what im looking for. |
