I have been unable to find a Butt pad for my Bushmaster Varminter,so I can add some length to the pull. I have tried Midway and Brownells. Any suggestions as to where I can buy one ? Thanks |

Two suggestions: (1) Get in touch with www.defensive-edge.net and see if their Sully 1" spacer would work on an A2 stock. You'd lose the trap door storage but that may extend your LOP enough. (2) Install a Match Rifle butt plate that extends and cants. Those will be pricey, but I'm certain that would work. Sinclair, or any of the HP competition oriented sites carry these. |
| How muck length of pull are you looking for? You would have to measure the end of your stock (height & width). Possibly try a Simms Vibration laboratories slip-on recoil pad. It would add to your length of pull and help with recoil. I use a fitted Simms on my 12 gauge for turkey hunting to help tame those 3.5" magnum shells. It works great!!! The best $30 investment in my shotgun! |
