Nice looking case - it should be damned nice at $100+ for a soft case.

Blackhawk's case (61PW00BK) has an MSRP of $115 for a 38" case.  I think most places are running 20% off MSRP, so $92.  No MOLLE/PALS on that case either.

Eagle's Discreet case (similar shape, DC-CAR-15) is $110.

It doesn't seem that far off (price wise.)  I couldn't find another case that has MOLLE/PALS on it.  I'm sure there are, but I can't seem to find one.

I'm in the market for two cases (rectangular) for my AR10 and AR15 carbine.  Both cases need to hold a 38" OAL rifle (AR10 is that long, as is the AR15 carbine with HALO mounted.)  The Brownell's case isn't long enough (rats.)

Someone should post a review after they buy this case. It looks pretty damned good to me.

I don't really see the point to PALS on a gun case.

The case is meant to hold your gun and a FEW accessories(cleaning kit, a mag or three)

I predict people going MOLLE crazy and loading all kinds of tac-gear in their rifle case.

The Tac-force three mag pouch and the huge pocket are plenty of storage for me to go back and forth to the range.  I have a chest-rig and assault pack to hold the rest of my stuff for serious buisness.

Having said that, the Brownells "dealer" price for that case is pretty decent: $85

Also, does it say OPEN cell foam on the interior?  Why would they do that?  Doesn't that foam hold moisture?

+1 on needing the review w/ pics.

Well. I got it and it is a well made case, and I like the color, but, do not like it.

It has a outside pouch that holds the 3 mag pouch.

But, you can't use mag pulls. It makes the mags to tall to fit be able to close the flap, or fit in the outside pocket.. That is with the mag pushed to the bottom of the pouch.

The foam is kinda thin. Makes the case a little floppy. You can see the bend in the top just sitting there.

And to me the main problem is there is no way to fasten the rifle inside the case where it can not move (no tie, or velcro straps inside) and with it being retangular, the gun can move around alot.

Because the carry handles are on the top side, and the shoulder strap is on the bottom if you change the carry the gun will move to the other side of the case.

If any one needs any other info or has any other questions let me know.

Yea, I'm going to sell this one and keep looking. It is well made, I like the tan zippers, just not what I think a good case should be.

Bummer.  The case was too short for my use anyway, but it sure looked promising.  Oh well, the search continues....
