Are these steel or aluminum now?

~~i have one, it's installed, but i think i'd have to say it's steel. i was attaching a steel clip to it last night and it sounded like steel on steel, not on aluminum. check out their website...~~

It's phospate coated tempered Steel.

And there Harder then Woodpecker lips..........

Been running one for over year, holding up great, no bending or distorting of the loop, slim profile and no knuckles getting raked.......

Their website is not up to date. They have been made from 7075 aluminum for over a year now. hard coat anodized too.

They are still my favorite sling loop for some reason.

Mine I bought last year is aluminum. Tough enough obviously, because I havent broken it
