Hoping someone can help - I am trying to mount a GG&G Receiver End Plate Sling Adapter on my 6920 for a SP sling and having a tough time removing the locknut that locks the lower receiver to the stock tube. I'm using a Bushmaster stock tool but the nut won't budge. Is it pinned somewhere or something? Thanks!

Correct, Colt stakes their receiver extension lock nuts.

If the wrench you are using won't get the nut loose you may have to use a pipe wrench and just replace the nut with a new one because the pipe wrench will chew up the nut a bit.

Colt lock nuts are available from Brownell's for about $10

Thanks guys! I thought I was missing something but it looks like I just need to "mongo" the thing off.
