Predator ff rail, p4 and p9. Anyone bought one? They look like they are the lightest and post to be very strong.

What I have read is the the top rail that connects the Predator to the upper is too high for co-witnessing. If thats not an issue with you then they are great. Try doing a search with Predator as the keyword.

Go to the rifles, uppers, etc forum or whatever they named it and look for the tacked thread that is something like "the big free-float rail thread" that is 20 or 30 pages long.

I have been looking at the Predator P9 for my beowulf but was concerned about the co-witnessing issue.

I emailed Warren from Ameetech and he informed me that the Predator version they sell leaves the last notch in the upper open for mounting flip-up sights.

It looks to be a pretty nice system and the price is right, so I think I'm going to give it a shot. I have no idea what mounting the Predator series rails will entail....I guess I'll find out. Maybe I'll post a review when I get it put together. There seems to be very little info out there on the Predator rails.

Sam

PS: I looked through the "big free-float rail thread" and didn't find anything. Am I missing something?

I did an extensive reveiw on it a long time ago.  Properly installed, it is a more than adequate rail system.  Improperly installed, it has some major drawbacks, specifically if the setscrews come loose on the back strap that attaches to your receiver, your optics zero will shift.  My experience was a 3" shift at 25 yds.  You will have to work through some optics mounting issues, as the rail height is not standard.
