I just aquired a bull barrel and would like to install my harris bipod. what is the easiest way to install this to it? (do I have to drill a hole in the FF handguards?)

Thanks

If it is an aluminum FF tube, just drill a hole and install a swivel stud to mount the Harris.

Do I have to remove the handguards, or just drill with it attached to the receiver?
If i have to remove it how do you go about doing that?

It's probably easiest to leave it on.  Use a drill press, or a hand drill with a short bit so you don't go too far and hit your barrel.

BSBG Thank you for the help.

once the hole is drilled do i just screw the harris stud into the handguard (so dill the hole a little small) or do you use a nut on the inside of the handguard?

I'd feel a lot better with a nut and some Loctite on the back [;)].
