  I was wondering what people think of the one piece McFarland gas rings compared to the 3 separate gas rings for your AR's bolt?
  Are they any good and has anybody had any good or bad experiences with them?

I have used them with no problems.  They technically provide a better seal for the gas system, but I have never really had a problem with the 3 piece rings.

If your looking for a set I have them for $3.50 shipped.

I've never had a problem with them.I find they don't allow the bolt to lock into battery unless you let the carrier fly forward and give a little more resistance when charging the rifle.
