Thanks!

Well if you have not figure it out yet, I will try and help I just got the same bipod and it took be a little while to figure it out.

First take apart the #5 adapter, unscrew the stud, and remove the QD swivel buy turning the small thumb screw out till it stops. Push down
and turn on the thumb screw, you will see what mean. Now you have the adapter, stud, washer and
swivel.

Remove your bottom handguard, place the large adapter piece inside with thread pointing into hole, use second hole from top. Now place the washer on the other side and screw in stud on top. The washer should go inside the grove on the handguard if its too big grind it down till is slides in.  See Pic:

Should give you the idea, pic shows the washer
on top of grove walls, better it is inside.

Hope this helps..

Thanks... now what part of the bipod hooks or bolts into the adapter on the hand guard?

I had to grind down the swivel stud on mine to get it to line up properly once tight. The Harris bipob has a sort of "claw" which hooks onto the swivel stud, and then you tighten the screw on the bipod itself until snug. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the bipod screw, there is only a small split-ring (like a key ring) to take up the tension you put on the screw.

I had to shim my Harris in order for my rifle to sit level once it was installed. I used fake leather (don't know what else to call it, but it is some tough stuff) and cut it into small strips and placed them between the rifle handguard and the mounting area of the bipod. Use one at a time and tighten, then sight to see if it's level.

Hope it helps a little! IM if you want more help.
