... from the top of the rail to the center of the optic?
Had planned on getting a T2 or H2, but with the rebate this month, I can get a TA44 with circle dot for not much more.
The reason for the measurement is that it is the height of the BUIS I have.

Irons should be about 1.4"...

And for most folks, 1.3" is the lowest before you have to really cram the cheek into the stock.

Not for an AR, but a Beretta ARX 100.
The Troy Micro sights I put on it are about the right height, and are a little lower than AR height BUIS.

I have these too mounts for my ta44 low version

The mi is roughly ar15 absolute co-witness height, the adm is about .2" lower which should work on the beretta arx, it's what I bought mine for but I don't own an arx yet.

I know this thread is old - but this is the exact info I've been looking for. I shoot NTCH - do you think the MI mount and low-base ta44 would work well?

I'm curious to see this as I'm still debating on putting a TA 44, TA 45, or Aimpoint T2 on my ARX.

Here's the acog on mi mount vs Primary arms red dot with the lower 1/3 co witness mount

Here is another with a magpul sight, and the red dot on an an absolute cowitness mount showing the height of the acog is very close, but it is a tiny bit lower but still usable

Here's the low adm mount on my ak with tws dog leg rail.
