I was shopping for a scope mount for my new build and ran across this mount. The mount looked very well built and was at a very good price but I couldn't find any reviews on it. When I'm about to spend this kind of money I like to take the time to do some research. I couldn't find much on this mount but took the risk and went ahead and ordered one. They claim to be made from 7075-T6 and I have no way of proving this but the mount seems to be very robust. The cap screws seem to be #8 torx and the cross bolts take 1/2" wrench. This is not a light weight mount but a very sturdy, heavy mount.

In that price range, no way in hell I'd go with some unknown manufacturer.  Way too many known quality manufacturers making mounts in that price range and cheaper.

Kind of late to ask if you've already ordered, though.

Im not positive but I think Black spider optics is part of or affiliated with spikes tactical.

The Meyers Mount scope mount does not appear on Black Spider Optics web site. It's maker, Black Spider LLC,  may be a different company.
