| I've got a matech BUIS that is missing the clamp to secure it to the rail. Does anyone know where I can get one? A few years ago I remember seeing matech having them for sale but I'm not seeing them now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
No problem. I hate it when I can't find what I'm after.
That was my pet project when I was at BAD, and the first AR product too, up to that point, BAD made M1A/M14 tools 
Having quickly overtorqued and broken the supplied bolt, I went to the hardware store and bought couple of el cheapo screws, and had to cut them to fit. Then I promptly broke one of them as well. In 2009 or 2010 the RKM was put into production. It had a different name then, but RKM was its original name (Retrofit Kit, Matech), its namesake was also a tribute to my friend Ron K. McDaneld that died in a motorcycle accident in 2006. Anyway, a little history on this tiny piece of kit

Thank you, shipping today. It was my pet project while I was at BAD, and it was scheduled to be handed back to me after I left the company start Forward Controls Design.
From what I was told, they didn't sell that well, so there was the question of whether we (Forward Controls Design) should continue making them. Emails poured in from folks that were looking for the kit, so not only did we start marking them, the bracket was redesigned a bit to be less blocky

I bought one from BAD a long time ago and just recently came into another matech missing the screw and bracket.
I called BAD and tried to order another one but they said they didn't offer them anymore. They did put me onto your new website and I've since ordered and recieved my second one. Thanks for continuing to make hem |
