| Looking for some flip up covers for khales 1-6. Any recommendations? |
|
I've had the Tenebraex. They are the most overly cumbersome flip-caps imaginable. I know this is a German optic (okay, Austrian), but we don't need a German Mousetrap on either end of it!
I have ordered some Aadland caps, and I also have Vortex Defender caps left over from another scope. I plan to assess the situation when the Aadlands arrive, and see which I like best. I have used Aadland on NF and Leupold and LOVE them. VERY VERY LIGHT, very solid. Very simple. Best caps out there, IMO. |
| I use a see-thru Butler Creek Blizzard on the front and nothing on the rear. The main reason I have it set up like this is to keep dust/rain etc off the front lens when being stored upright. The clear front cap keeps it ready to shoot without flipping open any lenses. |
