Have a few questions on a riser. Can someone tell me how many slots the Venom covers on a rail?
I need a lightweight budget riser, and not sure how high it needs to be to get to lower 1/3rd. I don't think it's the same as a standard red dot. Anyone know? It does not need to be a quick detach, once it's on, it's on, but open to options. I have put a hurting on my bank account this weekend, and will hurt a lot more to buy the actual Vortex riser.. If someone has done this please chime in with what you used. |
| Thanks.. I am trying to get away from spending $100 for a riser, when all it does it put the RDS a bit higher. One would think that as long as the Venom and Viper have been out, that someone would have done this and know what riser height would be needed in conjunction with the mount supplied with the sight. |
