Can the QD mount be reversed so the knob sticks out to the right {more or less over the ejection port}?  Looks like it can be simply swapped.

The one that came with the scope.  Has the torque nut on it.

IIRC, I at one point unbolted the base from the riser/mount on my QRP mount and figured out the mounting holes are offset so the base can't be spun to face the other direction.

ETA:  The holes aren't offset, but the channel where the riser/mount interface is offset, so you'll end up with the spacer/ring portion overhanging the base quite a bit with a slight offset of the actual sight.  You can see in the picture below on this spacer.
