[ARCHIVED THREAD] - GG&G ACOG quick release scope mount

When I lock this mount in place it seems very solid but there is some play front to back. I can probably move the mount 1/8" forward and backward. There is enough play that it rattles a bit when I move the rifle.

This doesn't seem right. The website says it is adjustable but I'm not sure how. I have tried it on 2 rifles with standard 1913 rails. My rails are new so they aren't the issue. It seems like the mount would be better on Weaver rails but I am kind of guessing.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

With most locking lever mounts you rotate the lever like a screw clockwise one turn at a time until it locks down tightly.
