I removed the flip caps on my T2 just because I dont like having to flip them, or at least the front, in a spur of the moment scenario. I figured if the tried and proven T1 was good enough without flip caps, the T2 is fine without them
Plus, i like the look without them...........my OCD goes nuts when the hinges on the flip caps are not perfectly centered since they move around alot. |
| I have a few H-2s and had to remove all the covers due to being able to see my eye ball reflection off the front cover when shooting indoors with the cover closed. I suppose you could run them open in the 6 oclock position so they don't interfere with your sight picture....but I just pulled them all off. |
