Hello all,

I had an issue with my PRO today. I've had it about 3 years now and it has been great, until today.  While shooting, the dot would go out or really dim, next shot, it was back to normal. Then out, all together. So i would tap it, it would come back on.  So I  tighten down the batter cap. It continues to have the issue. I take battery cap off and tighten down again. Still happening. So I change the brightness up one click, works flawlessly, turn it down one setting (below the flicker), again works flawless.  I have already sent an e-mail to Aimpoint, but was just curious if anyone else had this or a similar issue with these sights. Hopefully it will be under warrenty and they will take care of it since the rifle has been shot maybe a half a dozen times and has lived in the safe every other moment.

The battery is maybe a year or so old. I figured if it was the battery it would have flickered across all brightness settings, mine only flickered on one setting. All others were bright and steady.

Well, after the last post, I checked the battery, it was fine. Tested a new battery, still the same issue. I e-mailed Aimpoint, they responded requesting additional information. I sent them info, and then they never responded. I have since sent two other e-mails to them, and they haven't responded to those either. I'm pretty disappointed in them at the moment.

sounds like a bad rheostat.  They will fix it for free.

You need to call instead.
