What do you see with your eyes at settings 5, 6 and 7? (the first 4 settings should not be viewable in a well-lit room). Excuse my ignorance but how are the settings calculated? Is the lowest setting 0 (off ) or 1 (off)? or does it even turn off? I dont have NVG's so I cant see any of the settings around the lower range. |

I believe the first setting on the NV models is usually the lowest NV. Ah ok , well around the lower settings I don't see any of the aberrations , its only on the top maximum settings indoors. I guess its a non-issue and I'm just turning it up too high indoors? |

I adjust up if I'm shooting outdoors in bright sunlight and down on overcast days or low light conditions. |

You should never use the maximum settings indoors. |

Next someone will complain that its too dim on the first two settings. I mean come on... do they need a new section of the Aimpoint manual for this?
PROBLEM: My Aimpoint is too bright and has bloom and glare. SOLUTION: Reduce the brightness setting to as lower level. PROBLEM: My Aimpoint is too dim and hard to see. SOLUTION: Increase the brightness setting to a higher level.
