| I just purchased an Aimpoint pro for my RRA predator pursuit. Gun will be used primarily for coyote calling and I've decided I need some magnification for it. I've been looking at some used eotech g33 in the $350 range but I'm not wondering if a Burris or Samson would be just as good and save me some money. Any advice out there? Thanks |

What does the more expensive magnifiers achieve? Is it simply optics clarity? Or is there more to it than that? For instance, at one end of the spectrum you have the Aimpoint 3X magnifier that retails for around $800 fun tickets and at the other end you have Primary Arms 3X magnifiers that retail for $70.00
That's a huge discrepancy in price. What am I paying for with the Aimpoint magnifier? Durability and clarity? I mean the actual reflex sight is doing all the work right? |

| I had a primary arms 3x and used it between an eotech 2-2 and an aimpoint pro . It seemed to be ok and functioned as described , I have no complaints with the product but I found I used it very little in the field more so at the range and grew weary of it just hanging off the side of the gun . I gave it to a young man I work with, who wanted a magnifier but had several mouths to feed . personally if I was going to spend 800.00 for magnification I would be shopping the 1x6 optic market. |
