[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Aimpoint Pro mount?

Hey folks. I'm looking for other options than the stock aim point pro mount. I can't find much online regarding mounting it with a standard cowitness height 30mm scope mount. Is there any reason to not mount it this way?

It probably only works with the Aimpoint Pro mount. Why don't you just use the PRO mount? There is nothing wrong or detrimental about the co-witness height of the PRO mount, and most people want to GET AWAY from it BECAUSE of the huge knob, not the other way around. That is probably why you can't find anything on doing it.

Whoops. My phone auto corrected the OP and it made it sound like I wanted to keep the original mount. I'm looking to ditch the original mount and get a non-QD 30mm scope mount.
