Technically it's my Mutant but whatever.

What would be the best zero settings for a 16" 7.62x39mm upper?

25/200?

It has a set of Troy flips & an Aimpoint PRO on it right now, should that matter.

There is a lot of info out there for zeroing you AKM, but basically nothing for an AR in the same caliber.

Note that I only have access to a 100yd range currently.

Good question and thanks for posting this for discussion.

I've always been told this caliber is a "Russian 30-30".  For this reason I've figured on this being sighted at 100 yards with both irons and a red dot.  I guess 200 yards would work also.
