| So I am looking for a little feedback from you willing participants. Trying to find a mounting system for a Vortex Strike Eagle that I am putting on my AR. This is my first AR and there is a lot of good mounting systems that I've seen/read about and probably a lot more that I am not even aware exist. Vortex has one that's gotten good reviews for $30 but I also know that you get what you pay for. I don't necessarily have to have the best one on the market, but I don't mind paying for quality items. As of right now, I don't see myself moving this scope to any of my other rifles so the AR would be it's permanent home. Any feedback you can provide would be greatly appreciated. |

I always liked the ADM Recon and Scout, but if you're looking for a mount without the ad option, check out Geissele OP talks about a mount that he's thinking of for $30 and you go ahead a recommendation a mount that's $350.
I know OP said he'd be willing to pay more but you took him right to the top.

if you don't plan on moving the scope (or removing the scope) go with aero precision's mount. excellent quality for a fair price and very lightweight and ships free. pick one you like here: http://www.graniteridgeoutfitters.com/Sights-Optics-Mounts_c22.htm This is the Aero mount you want Also check this out for more info |

Thought about that, but I'm all about the quality over quantity/pay more for quality mindset, so figured I'd give my .02. I guess if I was going to stick to the budget friendly options, I'd go for the Aero |
