| I ordered a BCM 20 inch a4 upper with a 13inch kmr rail. Want to keep a simple traditional front sight, cant use an A2 but was thinking of the LMT fixed front sight. Scope will be on it but will be a 4x12 so the front sight shouldn't be a problem..... Suggestions on a rear sight? |

The DD sight is very nice. This is one is good to go as well:
Troy fixed front sight |

I thought Troy items were reserved exclusively for FBI sniper teams that feel no remorse for any of their actions. |

so does anyone have a suggestion on a rear site for him?.. Since thats what he asking about more so than the front ![]() HA! Touche, sir! So much talk about the front in his post, didnt notice the tiny detail at the end. Hrrmmm.... Well, the re is a slew of rear folding sights. Personally, Im for the mbus. Most rugged, and one of the lightest. I would go for matec or kac otherwise. Had a magpul pro, but it broke on me. Mounting bracket is too thin for the type of steel it is. If im going to put a heavy machined rear sight, then it may as well have range adjustment.. |

Since thats what he asking about more so than the front ![]() I guess we all had the problem of reading the thread title which was "Fixed front sight suggestions..." Since I already suggested DD as a fixed front sight, I'll add that my go to fixed rear sights are DD and Larue. I usually go with DD now since it's a bit cheaper. OP is using a scope, so he'll need a folding rear. I've used KAC and Troy and haven't had a problem with either. I don't like the Magpul rear sights since the squared off apertures give me a sloppy sight picture. I actually have a several Magpul rears in the part bin that I replaced with other rear sights since I dislike them so much. Fine for a backup if I'd never use it. |
