I recently mounted a Vortex in a Primary Arms mount. I thought I had everything mounted correctly but it seems that I have to tilt my head at a 45ยบ angle over the stock to get a decent sight picture at higher magnification levels.
What did I do wrong and how do I go about fixing it? |

You probably have eye relief set up for the lower magnification. When mounting a scope, turn the magnification to its highest setting and make sure you have proper eye relief. That means slide it forward and back and find the best spot where you have the most available view when looking through the scope. You will always have more visibility on lower magnification, so you want to place your scope so you have the most at higher magnification.
I think you set it for low magnification, so when you crank it up, you have to move your face over more to see the smaller view presented in the scope. |
